About the role

CASUAL TEACHER BASED IN  KUALA BELAIT

Applicants who are currently residing in Brunei with relevant EFL teaching experience, a first degree and preferably an internationally recognised EFL or ESOL qualification will be considered for the role. Current knowledge of EFL teaching practices and strategies, as well as experience in teaching general English for young learners or English to adult learners for specific purposes (e.g. business), will be a distinct advantage. Applicants should demonstrate a creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.

The working week is Monday to Friday, but the work schedule will vary. Applicants with a flexible and adaptable approach to work requirements will be highly regarded. Our Young Learner and Adult Learner Programmes include evening lessons in exam preparation, general English, and a mix of business/social English, depending on the type of student enrolment. Some work may be off-site at a client’s premises.

Applicants will need to submit an up-to-date CV, a covering letter (the letter should be no longer than one side of an A4 page), photocopies of qualifications and transcripts, professional course certificates, a recent passport-sized photo, contact telephone and email details and the names and addresses of at least two supervisory referees from within the last two years.
